Hey! I'm Nick and I work in TV as a Runner and a Researcher as well as freelancing as a branded video self-shooter and editor.
Most of what you'll see here will be freelance work from the world of video.
I'm a graduate of TV Production, but have actually been freelancing since well before university.
I taught myself to edit video and audio on a range of projects using a range software (Windows Movie Maker was a cruel and unkind teacher) and would consider myself an advanced shooter/editor and use the Adobe CC in most projects I work on.
I have directed and produced a number of video projects as a freelancer; organising, scripting, shooting (or second shooting) and editing and consider myself an all rounder.
I can work remotely with my own kit or join any in-house or temporary team with ease!
In TV I am currently a Casting Researcher on a COVID-19 Documentary and have worked as a Casting Assistant at a casting event for A Place in the Sun (Channel 4). I have worked as a Shooting Runner on both Britain's Got Talent (ITV) and Little Mix the Search (BBC One). And I have been a Location Runner on Hugh and Anita's War on Plastic (BBC One).
I have worked in a range of roles as a freelancer; from Main Stage Camera Head of Department at Insomnia Gaming Festival to Producer, shooter and editor of promotional content for composer Robin. A. Smith, the Musical Director of the 2012 Olympic Games.
